What is Browser-Safe Color Palette / Web-Safe Colors?

• They are colors palette which were used within the browsers (Internet Explorer ,Mozilla Firefox ,e etc). However these palette colors have slightly different impacts when used on Macs and PCs using
  those different browsers.
• Also ,these color palette can only contain 216 colors out of 256 colors .The remaining 40 colors were being
  varied on Macs and PCs.

Is it relavant in today’s context? Why ?

• Yes. That is because these web-safe colors are very useful when doing graphic designs on web ,where flat-color illustrations ,logo with flat-colors and areas in any image that have alot of single color. And flat colors are easier to dither around with which will look far mor objectionable.

What are the common font face found on PCs and Macs?

• Arial
• Arial Black
• Comic Sans MS
• Courier New
• Georgia
• Impact
• Lucida Console
• Lucida Sans Unicode
• Palatino
• Tahoma
• Times New Roman
• Trebuchet MS

What is page loading time and how it influence your design?

• Page loading time is the time taken for the webpage to load fully. It depends on the user’s internet connection speed.

• If the page is loading very slowly ,user may feel irritated by the speed of the loading time or lose the “feel” of continueing to see that page and its completely useless even if the design of yours is so perfect but its loading so slowly that the user decided to close the page before viewing the design. Fast page load time are very important for keeping users happy as they can view the webpage easily and without taking much time and will have better impression of the design .

• I think the whole process is really very interesting. it’s just like any other design projects when we need to research and analysis what os the direction we will be heading and through different mediums, we produce it. the website I went to see did give me insight to how it’s done and how we can make it better. it’s amazing how planning the layout will change the whole effect of the web page.  Another thing that I think I came to realize through this reading is the importance in typography in a page. It will either increase a appeal to go back to the web or to make the users cant wait to leave the site. Also, the imagery of the site, images help to create mood and it’s vital to the web page. I think, Sometimes it’s better to just keep it simple That’s about all what I feel after the reading of the article..
